More details to come…

From the obituary:

Giroux, Alcide “Ti Loup” 1945-2018 With heavy hearts but with gratitude for a life well lived, the Giroux family announces with deep sadness the sudden and unexpected death of a man “full of dreams and plans for the future”, Alcide Giroux on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Son of the late Philippe Giroux , who Alcide said was born with a built in GPS ,and the late Exilda Giroux who always had baked cookies on the old wood stove. Alcide was predeceased by his precious wife Pat (née Leger) on May 30, 2011. “We had been together for fourty-four years and nine months. It was a very sad day but I was consoled a little when I read what she had wrote; I HAD A GREAT LIFE”. Ti-Loup found renewed love and happiness once more when he met and married Denise Beaudry in later years. Very proud father of his sons Robin and Serge (Tishia) both of Sturgeon Falls. Alcide will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Aimé, Anick and Samina as well as by his great grandson Etha.
