“When North American Fur Auction filed for bankruptcy protection in November, Fur Harvesters Auction Inc. “got twice as big overnight.”
And while 2020 was “poised to be a pretty good year,” the emergence of COVID-19 has forced the North Bay-based operation to change the way it does business — at least on a temporary basis.
“We were good to go for our sale in March, but then COVID started to ramp up,” Fur Harvesters Auction CEO Mark Downey said Tuesday.”
