The North American fur trade has a lost a strong and long-time advocate. David Sollman, the executive director of the Fur Information Council of America, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Jan. 28. He was 52.
Sollman, a native of Indiana, USA, has been an active and influential supporter for the fur trade for upwards of three decades.
Many who work in the trade in a variety of capacities will certainly know him as a very forthright and passionate supporter for fur in North America and he will undoubtedly be missed.
