James (Jamie) Baker brings more than 20 years of experience as an award winning journalist and rural issues advocate to his new position as the executive director for the Fur Institute of Canada. Baker has a long history and connection with the seal harvesting and processing industry and long-standing family and personal connections to the fur trapping and farming industries.
